JD Edwards CNC Consultant

This consultant should have multiple years of experience supporting all JD Edwards CNC activities for our OneWorld customers. This position will be responsible for a range of CNC administration tasks including package builds, security modifications, ESU installation, end-user troubleshooting, performance tuning and client assessments. Experience with installations, upgrades and World to OneWorld migrations is beneficial, but not required. Candidate should have experience with medium to large installations (over 200 users) and be familiar with all versions of JDE above Xe as well as multiple OS and DB platforms. Communication skills are critical, this position will be required to interact with end users as well as Database Administrators, System Analysts and System Architects.

 

JDE Developer

Seeking an experienced JDE developer to support a quickly growing portfolio of clients. Candidate must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and display critical problem solving skills across all versions of JDE (8.x - 9.0) and all major modules (Finance, Manufacturing, HR, Distribution, etc.).  Experience working with multiple customers simultaneously is a plus. 
 
Other requirements:
4 year degree in IT/IS or relevant discipline
5+ years relevant experience
Willingness to travel (50-80%)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to self manage
Experience in troubleshooting existing code as well as creating custom code from scratch

 

Microsoft SQL Server Consultant - Junior Level

Under general supervision, designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases.  As a member of the Data Services team, candidates must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot incidents, research options and implement solutions while maintaining service level agreements. Emphasis on strong problem resolution and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Perform database administration functions including security access, performance tuning, capacity planning, and database backup and recovery.
Proactive monitoring of database systems
Develop and enhance data integration procedures
Respond to on-call pages as required.

Qualifications
Candidates must have 3+ years of DBA experience with strong proficiency in SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.
Experience with high availability technologies such as failover clustering, database mirroring, log shipping and replication.
Microsoft SQL Server certification is not mandatory but a plus.
Knowledge of Oracle database platform is desired.

 

SAP Basis Administrator

Responsibilities
Batch Job Review consisting of examining the batch job schedule, creating a diagnostic report to serve as baseline metrics on performance to be established system SLA’s.
System Optimization. Gaining familiarity with SAP landscape, BI and ECP (Dev, QA, production, and appserver).
Help develop a plan of action focused on optimizing the system that will allow the user community to perform SAP related tasks in a more efficient manner.
Manage user roles and profiles creating a standard set of roles and a change process for these roles will allow for ease of maintenance and transparency to each associates job function.
Partner with each business unit to create a security change process to ensure SOX compliance.
Review storage utilization and Storage sizing to increase the productivity of IT, buying, allocation and warehouse teams.
Develop and implement a SAP change process and release cycle. Partnering with IT to create effici structure for release cycle for releasing and movement
transports to QA from Development.
Interact with SAP development and configuration team and other non-SAP technical teams to maintain SAP reliability, availability and performance.
Daily tasks include maintain and enhance associate roles and profiles, process new hire, termination and change requests. Monitor system performance, open and track resolution IBM. SRs. Partner with ABAP, MM and functional team members to research SAP notes as needed.
Maintain the calendar with IBM to keep the IT team aware of any service outages due to upgrades, patches, or service down times.

Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in performing systems analysis, system tuning, and new product or new technology evaluation in a SAP environment.
Must have experience in SAP Basis administration on SAP ECC 6.0, SAP BW 7.0, and Solution Manager.
Must have strong understanding of Basis principles to oversee Basis strategy within Security, Disaster Recovery, and overall system performance.
Experienced in SAP Transport Management System (TMS), SAP Change and Transport System (CTS), and SAP Security management - Authorization models, LDAP & Active Directory.
Knowledge of standard SAP maintenance activities * support packs, enhancement packs, kernel upgrades, system refresh, monitoring, transports, and SAP troubleshooting.
2+ full cycle implementations including: Scoping and Planning, Process Design, Configuration, Testing, Deployment, and Post Go-Live Support.
Prior experience working in a hosted environment a plus.
Prior experience working with Industry Solution for Retail (IS-R) including SAP Retail Store (SRS) a plus.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision
