Background
Dymax Corporation is a global leader in the development and manufacture of advanced light-curable adhesives, conformal coatings, dispensing systems and UV/LED curing equipment. Founded in 1980 and driven by a strong culture of innovation, Dymax serves industries ranging from medical devices to aerospace and defense, helping manufacturers improve throughput, enhance quality and reduce environmental impact.
Business Challenge
Dymax’s warehouse operations relied heavily on manual processes, requiring significant time and effort for routine activities such as inventory receiving, transfers, and cycle counting. As the company’s facility in Germany transitioned from a small-scale, manually operated warehouse to a larger, centralized distribution hub, the need for greater automation became critical. Manual workflows made it difficult to scale efficiently, so Dymax needed a solution that would modernize its warehouse operations and streamline inventory movement.
Implementing a Smarter Way to Work
ERP Suites began by conducting collaborative discovery sessions with Dymax to capture detailed requirements and map existing manual workflows. The Dymax team demonstrated their current processes, giving ERP Suites a clear view of opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Using these insights, ERP Suites designed wireframes and functional specifications tailored to Dymax’s needs. Once approved, the Scanability flows were developed, demonstrated, and refined through direct feedback from Dymax’s key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
After minor adjustments, the completed flows were delivered for user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that every element aligned with Dymax’s operational goals and system environment.
Given the intuitive nature of the new interface and Dymax’s ongoing involvement throughout the design and testing stages, training requirements were minimal. ERP Suites used a train-the-trainer model to equip Dymax’s internal team with the knowledge to onboard users quickly and confidently.
The Outcome
The success of the initial implementation quickly inspired momentum within Dymax’s organization. Positive user feedback and measurable process improvements led Dymax to request additional Scanability flows to extend automation into other business areas.
As teams began using the new tools, they reported noticeable gains in ease of use, process consistency, and operational efficiency, transforming what was once a manual, time-intensive process into a streamlined digital workflow.
