The business demanded immediate change when it found significant lag time in reporting production data to JD Edwards. The reporting delay put completed inventory a step behind. Using Orchestrator, ERP Suites consultants helped Stanley sync shop floor data collectors to JDE. This would enable real-time reporting and material availability monitoring. Next, they displayed Stanley’s manufacturing execution system (MES) data on dashboards within JDE using CaféOne. Employees could then analyze live production data quickly and easily. With each improvement, they advanced closer to a smart factory. The Stanley team gained powerful insight, was more proactive, and poised to address issues within seconds of reporting.
