The Technology Behind the Platform

How It Works

The ERP Suites AI Platform is built on a cloud-native architecture designed to deploy, manage, and scale AI agents.

At its core is a standardized agent framework that enables AI agents to interact with JD Edwards securely. The platform leverages Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and supports multiple LLM providers, giving organizations flexibility without being tied to a single AI model.

Agents are deployed as containerized applications within secure OCI environments. Deployment, provisioning, and infrastructure management are automated through Terraform and managed through a centralized control plane, enabling consistent deployments and streamlined operations.

Using technologies such as LangGraph, vector stores, and enterprise integrations, agents can perform multi-step workflows, access business context, and interact with JD Edwards and other enterprise systems. A centralized agent registry manages agent versions, configurations, and deployments, while monitoring and observability tools provide visibility into agent activity and platform performance.

ERP Suites selected OCI as the foundation for the platform because many JD Edwards customers already operate within the Oracle ecosystem. By leveraging Oracle's cloud and AI, organizations can reduce platform complexity and maintain consistency across their enterprise technology stack.

ERP Suites vs. Other AI Approaches

Organizations exploring AI typically have three options: build internally, purchase a generic AI solution, or partner with a provider that delivers both the platform and the expertise.

Managed SaaS Platform Explained

Many AI solutions stop at delivering the technology. Organizations are then responsible for hosting, securing, integrating, monitoring, and maintaining those solutions within their own environments.

The ERP Suites AI Platform takes a different approach. Rather than delivering AI agents as standalone software, agents are delivered through a managed SaaS platform that includes the underlying infrastructure, operational services, and support required to run them in production.

This means organizations do not need to build separate environments, manage platform updates, monitor system health, or maintain the supporting technology stack. Every AI agent operates on a common platform designed to provide consistency and security across the enterprise.

As new agents, capabilities, and integrations are introduced, they leverage the same platform architecture, making it easier to deploy, manage, and scale AI across the enterprise.

Start with One. Scale with Confidence.

Scaling Across Multiple Agents

Many organizations begin their AI journey with a single use case. As they identify new opportunities, additional AI agents can be introduced to support other business processes, departments, and operational needs.

Because all ERP Suites AI agents are deployed on a common platform foundation, organizations do not need to build separate environments, security frameworks, integrations, or management processes for each new agent. New capabilities can leverage the same infrastructure, governance model, and operational framework already in place.

Whether deploying agents for finance, procurement, customer service, supply chain, or other business functions, organizations can manage them through a consistent platform architecture designed to support long-term growth.
